was the most advanced ballplayer in the gym, I don’t believe there was a single player at the entire event that could’ve slowed him down or guard him effectively. His skills were superior to a lot of players his age and size, and he looked as if he’s getting to the point where everything on the court has slowed down and is becoming easy for him. Paul had a game where his F.O.E. team went into halftime winning by just 5 points while feeling like they should’ve been up by way more. Cameren came back out like he had something to prove, completely going off and scoring in bunches, knocking down 3-pointers, getting to his spots in the mid-range for a pull-up, driving to the basket for a lay-in whenever he wanted, and cleaning up his teammate’s shots off the glass getting multiple put back tip-ins. He was actually leaping up so high when he drove in and got rebounds that he could’ve slammed it in every single time.

just makes putting the basketball in the hoop look way easier than it should, he picks and chooses his spots very well, every shot he took was a good shot even if it didn’t fall. He also had an impressive ability to score and make plays with one or two dribbles and a step or two to the basket from the 3-point line. As a defender, Paul saw what the opponent wanted to do before they did it, leading him to several breakaway steals and fastbreak dunks.

is at the point where he’s completely outplaying his competition while barely breaking a sweat. He’s a special talent that always plays with the confidence of the best player on the floor. He may be an 8th-grader but his game is ready for the high school varsity level.
Daniel Lovato | Albuquerque, NM | Class of 2025
6-foot-5-inch, combo forward with guard skills and pure scoring abilities out of the post, out on the perimeter, and off the dribble. Lovato is a natural when it comes to putting the ball in the hoop, he contains an impressive ability of getting to and also picking and choosing his spots. He showed solid quickness but has a sneaky first-step with a long stride that got him around his defenders. Daniel wasn’t afraid to get physical one bit, he didn’t shy away from contact when slashing the lane, in fact, he invited it, and often either scored through it or picked up the foul call. When posting up down low, Lovato made himself a big open target as teammates drove to the basket, keeping his hands high and completely sealing off his man. He also grabbed rebounds on the defensive end, taking it coast to coast, and finishing at the rack, displaying good versatility. Daniel Lovato showed a lot of promise and a good upside, I’m sure he will be one of the best players coming out of New Mexico from the class of 2025.
Kayden “Bug” Edwards | Duncanville, Tx | Class of 2025
Bug Edwards proved to be a left-handed, deadeye, sharpshooter with a complete guard skill set. While watching Kayden warm-up, I knew this kid was destined to have a big day, I don’t think I saw him miss a single jump shot. He was truly automatic especially when left open and shooting in rhythm. The shooting display he put on was a marvel to watch, showing quick-twitch muscles when setting his feet, on his step-back jumpers, and when making super fast combo moves, even in tight spaces. In the game, he was such a scary shooter that he was able to draw fouls from the 3-point range by pump faking and getting his man in the air. Terrific job of bouncing off of defenders to draw fouls, this effort led Edwards to multiple free-throw attempts throughout the weekend. Bug shredded teams with his amazing breakaway quickness, this kid has true track speed and it was an absolute terror in the open court. The only thing his Southern Assault teammates had to do was throw the ball the full length of the court and he was getting it and finishing every time. One of his best traits on the court was his facilitating. Edwards was a very unselfish player for such an elite scorer, you can’t help but love his feel for the game. He did a great job of passing while on the move, finding guys the moment they were open, and hitting them right in their shooting pocket. He was outstanding in the championship game and a major reason for his team’s success. Kayden Edwards will most likely become a recognizable name throughout the next few years.
Chris Lindo Jr. | Baton Rogue, LA | Class of 2025
Chris Lindo Jr. was a lengthy, productive scorer that led his team in scoring throughout the tournament. He displayed the footwork to create a shot for himself and get a bucket anywhere from 15-feet in. Chris had a very consistent stroke, he was efficient and shot it with a great touch, the ball snapped the net the same way each time it went through. Lindo Jr. scored from all over the floor but he was nearly automatic on his baseline jump shots. A terrific mid-range shooter, with a high release, giving him the capability to easily shot over his opponents whether they contested or not. This quality offensive talent also had go-to moves in the mid-range and down low that the defense never saw coming. Chris Lindo Jr.’s put up numbers on some of the best squads in attendance, this kid has game that just jumps right at you.

displayed a truly competitive nature, playing with a pure will to win, everything he did was full speed and with 100% effort, even when rebounding he attacked the glass hard and at a high rate. Greer was dangerous with the ball in his hand coming downhill, a quick in-and-out move and he was at the basket in no time. By the second game, Hudson was doing whatever he wanted out there, looking unstoppable both offensively and defensively, racking up steals, getting inside at will, and muscling guys to the basket before laying it up. Great control of his body when going up and through traffic to finish at the basket and also a solid leaper in the open court that is on his way to becoming a high-flying dunker. Greer matched up and played perfectly with his teammate Kayden Edwards, making them by far, the most impressive and complete duo in attendance. They ran the court together, wreaked havoc on the defense, and compiled layup after layup after layup. Hudson’s intensity on the floor brought a certain type of intimidation factor, his opposition realized right away that it was going to be a long day when facing off against him. This kid is an ultra-talented prospect with extreme amounts of potential and a confidence level that is through the roof.
