Ladera, Ca -The Prep Hoops Next Circuit made its long-awaited West Coast debut with a stop in Southern California. The event took place on February 6th and 7th at the Ladera Ranch Sports Complex in South Orange County. The event which was open to 12u, 13u, and 14u teams, featured competitive pool play, and a championship bracket. It also featured several players with advanced ability around the rim. In this article, we take a look at the top finishers from the event.

Mckel Shedrick 6’1 SG Team Eleate 2025 - Shedrick looked like the old guy at the park that scores on everybody. It wasn’t pretty but he just keeps getting buckets. Overall he might have opened the most eyes this weekend. with his ability to score from a variety of levels. His herky-jerky mothion, combined with his ability to get into the paint and finish with lefty floaters, and layups, reminded me of former Memphis Tiger Chris Douglas Roberts (google him).

Isaiah Cunningham Isaiah Cunningham 6'2" | WG WA 6’2 SF Gametime 2025 - His size, speed, and explosiveness is evident. Cunningham was almost unstoppable in transition.
