Ladera, Ca -The Prep Hoops Next Circuit made its long-awaited West Coast debut with a stop in Southern California. The event took place on February 6th and 7th at the Ladera Ranch Sports Complex in Southern California. The event which was open to 12u, 13u, and 14u teams, featured competitive pool play, and a championship bracket. It also featured several players that could flat out shoot the ball. In this article, PHN takes a look at some of the top snipers from the event.

Dax Hall 5’4 PG San Diego Prospects 2027 – The scouting report on Hall coming in was that he was a shooter, and he did nothing to deter that evaluation. The diminutive PG didn’t need much space to change the scoreboard. Despite playing up, he managed to be an effective floor spacer getting to the corner and knocking down shots when the defense collapsed.

Jake Hall 6’0 SG Multilevel Basketball 2025 – Hall was equally effective from both beyond the arc and the free-throw line. He has textbook form and when he was able to get catch and shoot looks he was almost automatic. What was most impressive about him, was the fact that he knocked down shots despite having few open looks. Hall was routinely shadowed and denied the ball, yet he was able to get open and display a quick and accurate trigger.

Jason Crowe Jr 5’6 PG The Truth 2026 – The lefty has a serious strap and he knows how to use it. Crowe had perhaps the most range of anyone at the event. He was deadly in catch and shoot, but his wiggle and ability to free himself from defenders before launching is what made him most dangerous. He had one of the most memorable moments of the weekend, knocking down a game-winning 3 from Steph Curry range.

Jordan Mize 5’7 SG Sneaker Steal 2027 – Mize had perhaps the most casual and effortless stroke on the day, if he grunts he could shoot it from 50 feet. The lefty was lethal in catch and shoot situations, showing good form and a consistent release. Mize’s shooting was a major catalyst to help a deep and talented Sneaker Steal team cruise to a 12U championship.

Cole Lienart 6’3 SF AEBC 2024 – Lienart was able to get his shot off in an instant, combine that with the fact that he was one of the taller shooters and it was almost impossible to affect his shot. He did his damage off catch and shoots and showed range easily out past the college 3.
