McDavid All-American Camp: Top Class of 2026 Performers

Rock Hill, SC — This past weekend I attended the McDavid All-American Camp that played host to some of the top middle school prospects from across the United States. I mainly focused on the kids from 6th to 8th grade and will be providing coverage from those three age groups. Below is a look at some of the top 7th graders from the camp.

Brody McGuire | Tennessee | Class of 2026

After the first three minutes of watching McGuire this past Saturday, I thought I was watching Cole Hanin’s (Bowdoin College commit) twin. McGuire is a smaller guard but his size does not bother him. He is a crafty lead guard that can get by defenders because of his skilled handle. The lefty was displaying a very creative layup package this past Saturday and was certainly one of the more impressive scorers in the 7th grade division.

Leron Lipford | Virginia | Class of 2026

Lipford was one of the more advanced 7th graders that I saw this past weekend at the McDavid All-American Camp. Lipford is lightning quick with some strength that a lot of people in his grade don’t have. He was an aggressive scorer finishing with 21 points in the game I saw from him. The state of Virginia has a lot of good history with guard play and Lipford looks like he could be one of the next up in the state.

Anthony Thompson | Ohio | Class of 2026

Thompson has a ton of upside and should definitely be on the radar for coming years. Thompson brings great length to the court which allows him to be a versatile option on offense. Thompson was very efficient around the rim but his best offense came from his shooting stroke. Thomson has a textbook shooting stroke and finished with five three’s in the game I saw from him.

Tobia Moye Jr. | North Carolina | Class of 2026

When it comes to talking about prospects that have an advantage because of size and strength in the 7th grade class, Moye is near the top of that list. Moye is a super competitive forward that can score in a variety of ways in the low post. Moye had one of the top motors at the entire McDavid All-American Camp and brought a ton of energy on both ends of the floor.

Drew Neve | Virginia | Class of 2026

Neve was one of the most productive post players from the 7th grade division at McDavid All-American Camp. He had a complete mismatch against the opposition because of his height and size and used that to his advantage greatly. Neve has a bright future especially because of the size he could potentially grow to be.
