The event began on Friday, March 11th, continued with Bracket play on Sunday, and concluded with Championship games on Sunday Afternoon. A total of 46 teams participated in the event and several players put together magnificent performances. In this article, we present our 14U All-Tournament Teams.
1st Team
Cal Furnish 5’9 PG Team Griffin (featured image) – I could make the argument that he was the MVP of the tournament. Loved how he picked his spots deciding when to facilitate and when his team needed a bucket. He played his best as the competition got better. Throwing daggers at a good Southern Assault squad and coming up big in the Championship game against a JB White team that has rarely faced defeat this season.
Kayden Edwards 6’2 CG Southern Assault – May have been the best two-way player in the tournament. The guard was an absolute blur on the offensive end, several times starting the break and finishing in transition. On the defensive end, he locked up on ball and played the passing lanes, and I haven’t even begun to talk about the fact that he shot the ball like a true sniper.

6’4 PF Team Griffin – People kept trying Rayfield and he kept sending shots into the bleachers. On my, all Looks The Part team. The rangy forward rebounded alone grabbing every board he wanted and showed off his athleticism with some impressive dunks.
Latavious Morris 5’6 PG JB White Elite – Morris’s handle was impressive. He was almost impossible to trap as he used several nifty dribbles to avoid and split defenders. When he wasn’t driving all the way to the bucket, he was using the same handle to separate from defenders and pull up for three. Morris was the best off the bounce shooter that I saw on the weekend.

6’4 SF Southern Assault – Greer is an anomaly. I don’t remember a high-level shooter slash rebounder but he’s it. Unafraid to crash the board, he threw his body in traffic several times snatching in and out of area rebounds. On the shooting front, he showed off a textbook stroke, displaying lethal shooting behind the line from all areas of the floor.
