Phoenix, AZ – The Prep Hoops Next Circuit came to Phoenix for War In The Valley. The event took place Saturday, April 10th, and concluded Sunday, April 11th with bracket play. Over 35 teams participated in the event featuring teams from California, Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. Recently the evolution of the game has given rise to more combo-type guards, players who possess the 1 on 1 skills of shooting guards, with the playmaking of points. In this article, we take a look at the top Combo Guards from the event.

Mckel Shedrick 6'1 Team Eleate 2025 - Shedrick was one of the smoothest players at the event. Whenever coach Lea and team Eleate needed a bucket, his name was called. The lefty was able to penetrate at will, but he also showed terrific vision finding teammates both on the perimeter and under the rim.

 

Tommy Isbell 5'10 All Vegas 2025 - Isbell is one of those players that can score in bunches. This weekend a ton of his points came in transition, however, he also showed that he can knock down shots from behind the line. The lefty has
