The Prephoops Next Circuit has been amazing. With so many stops all over the country, there have been tons of opportunities to showcase some of the top middle school talents in the country. I’ve been fortunate to attend three events. The West Coast Kick-Off in Ladera, CA, the Sooner State Shootout in Edmonds, OK, and War In The Valley In Phoenix. There have been so many talented wings that narrowing down the top 10 is going to be quite a challenge. However, in this article, we break down my top 10 wings from the circuit.

  1. Jake Hall 6’1 Multi-Level Basketball 2025 (featured image) – Have to give the top spot to Hall. He’s showed up and showed out every time he’s stepped on the floor. You could make the argument that he’s the best shooter and scorer on the circuit right now. He routinely faces double and triple teams, while being face guarded, despite that he manages to consistently make tough shots.
  2. Hudson Greer Hudson Greer Hudson Greer 6'4" | WG TX 6’4 Southern Assault 2025 – I still believe Greer is one of the most unique players I’ve scouted. He is a knock-down shooter, that spaces the floor for SA. He also is one of the grittiest rebounders on the circuit, who has shown that he is unafraid to mix it up in traffic and grab boards. I’ve heard of 3 and D guys, Greer might be the first 3 and Re player.
  3. Cameron Dyer 6’0 JB White Elite 2025 – Dyer checks all the boxes. He’s produced on a game-in basis, putting up several 20 point games, and he does it for a team that wins. JB White has played in a championship game and a semifinal in Dyer’s time on the circuit.
  4. David Coe 5’10 Texas Summit 2026 – Coe may have one of the highest ceilings of anyone on the circuit. He’s a different kind of competitor, who relishes playing against the best. He has a good frame and is a monster when playing downhill in transition.
  5. Josiah Andrews 5’8 YBA Elite 2026 – Andrews has an advanced offensive game. He uses a ton of iso moves to free himself from defenders and create shots for himself. He’s consistently been one of the top players for a YBA team that’s played in a championship game and won a title.
  6. Mckel Shedrick 6’1 Team Eleate 2025 – Shedrick is a crafty wing that is equally good at scoring it himself, or creating for others. The lefty has a herky-jerky game that keeps opponents off-balance, allowing him to blow by, or raise up and knock down open shots.
  7. Andrew Miller 6’3 Hard 2 Guard 2025 – Miller is going to be a candidate for my wired-to-score team. The wing is a multi-level scorer with the ability to hit the open 3, slash to the basket, or score in transition. In Arizona, at War In The Valley, he put up several 20 point plus performances.
  8. Jaden Gray 6’0 San Diego Prospects 2026 – I dare you to find a player that plays harder than Gray. His motor is ridiculous and sometimes I think it overshadows some of his other skills. Gray is a good slasher and has the ability to create for his teammates with accurate passing off the bounce.
  9. D’andre Harrison 6’3 AEBC 2025 – Harrison has perhaps the best second jump ability of anyone in his class. He could be defined as more of a post, however, I truly believe he is at his best when playing the 3. Playing for the talented AEBC squad, he may never put up jaw-dropping individual numbers, however, anyone watching him play can see his value.
  10. DJ Howell 6’3 Team Griffin 2025 – When Howell wants to, he can take over games with his size length and athleticism. The 6’3 wing is a terrific slasher and has the ability to get out and finish in transition. He is one of the top players on a talented team Griffith squad, that won the Sooner State Showdown 14U bracket.
