Manheim, PA — The Spooky Nook Sports Complex played host to the A-Game Super Shootout which was absolutely loaded with talent across the board. In an action packed two days, Prep Hoops Next was able to evaluate prospects from each middle school age group. In this article I take a look at some of the top performers from the 7th grade platinum division.

Davion Brown | River City Reign | Class of 2026

Also a standout on the football field, Brown is an advanced level 7th grader on the basketball court. Brown, who is currently listed a 6’1 does a great job of attacking downhill using his strength and athleticism to get by defenders or finish over them. Brown has a high motor and is constantly producing on both ends for his River City Reign team.

Dre Haynes | DC Premier Silver | Class of 2026

Haynes ran the show for DC Premier at the A-Game Super Shootout and was a key in his teams success. Haynes is a point guard that moves the ball really well and has some good playmaking skills for the lead guard spot. Haynes also showed that he can play lockdown defense on that end of the floor.

Israeh Jackson | Black Ops | Class of 2026

Standing at about 6’5, Jackson was the go to guy for the Black Ops 2026 bunch at the A-Game Super Shootout. He was one of the top rebounders in the 7th grade division and had a strong advantage on the boards because of his size. He was efficient around the rim on offense and played great defense by keeping his hands up without fouling.

Chidi Nwigwe | NJ Scholars | Class of 2026

There is a lot to like about Nwigwe especially with his size and length where he currently stands at 6’3. He played a major role in getting the Scholars to the semifinals of the 7th Grade Platinum bracket on both ends of the floor. Offensively is he more skilled than a lot of other 7th graders and will be a name to remember on the national scene in the coming years.

Imahri Wooten | City Rocks | Class of 2026

Wooten was one of the more dominating players I saw at the A-Game Super Shootout. Wooten is a 6’1 prospect that has a lot of athleticism and used that well to get out in transition and attack well downhill. As he gets older, look for him to be a three level scorer and someone that is going to be really hard to guard in transition.
