War for the North prospect standouts from day one:

Amari Edwards -- Dream Chasers 14U -- PG

Edwards came out on Saturday and made a name for himself. The speedy point guard made some difficult shots and showed an ability to get his teammates involved. I also saw some high-level competitiveness from the PG on the defensive end.

Kaydin Williams -- Grind Family Chicago 14U -- PG

Kaydin Williams did a lot of the heavy lifting for Grind Family Chicago 14U in the second half. The point guard made shots, kept his offense in rhythm, and even grabbed a few offensive rebounds. Williams is definitely a prospect to keep an eye on.

EJ Breland -- Grind Family Chicago 14U -- SF

I liked the shooting ability that Breland displayed on Saturday afternoon. The small forward showed a pretty mid-range shot. And while I didn't see him knock down any threes, I know that he has the skill to become lethal from beyond the arc.

Evan Vanevehoven -- Wisconsin Crusaders 14U -- G

I am very impressed by how complete Vanevehoven's game is at this point in his career. The Wisconsin Crusaders guard played with poise and confidence on both ends.
