Pangos Spring Showcase: 2025 Standouts

The Pangos Spring Showcase took place May 22nd and 23rd at the Tarkanian Academy in Las Vegas, NV. The camp featured several prospects from all over the country. The camp was unique, as there was no grade stipulation, meaning many talented middle schoolers competed alongside and against several rising high school prospects. Several of these younger prospects held their own. In this article, we take a look at some of the top 2025 players from the camp.

Michael Anderson 6’3 SF Las Vegas, NV – Anderson had a good showing. I’m still trying to narrow down what position he is, however, he was effective in a few different roles. Anderson scored around the basket, bullying people in post-up situations, and even displayed a surprisingly quick second jump. He also managed to knock down his share of mid-range shots, when showing off his guard skills.

Shamar Jones 6’5 SF Mountain House, CA – If you were to look at Jones compared to the rest of the players on the floor, there’s no way you would have thought he was in the class of 2025. He has an advanced frame, and a pretty advanced offensive game to go with it. He showed good use of the bounce, using the dribble to separate from defenders. He shot the ball well, and what was even more impressive was the fact that a lot of his makes came off the dribble.

Tremayne Anderson 6’5 SF Las Vegas, NV (featured image) – Sometimes I see Anderson play and he looks like just another guy on the floor, other times I watch him and he looks like the best player in his class. This weekend he was somewhere in the middle. Showed good defensive instincts, especially when playing the passing lanes, Anderson is a long athlete that scores well in transition.

Casen Lochridge 5’7 PG Las Vegas, NV – Lochridge is a name to keep on your Radar. He plays with so much confidence, that even against older players he wasn’t afraid to run the show. Lochridge is a heady pg that does an excellent job of getting the ball out of his hands, allowing teammates to attack early. Defensively, I didn’t see anyone beat him off the dribble, as he used sound fundamentals to stay between the ball and the basket.

Prince Davis 5’10 PG Las Vegas, NV – I thought Davis’s best contributions came on the defensive end. He showed that he is a willing defender, with the ability to get underneath and harass ballhandlers. I don’t think he took a shot in the game I watched, which was telling, because he never let that affect his overall defensive effort.
