EDEN PRAIRIE– One of my favorite teams to build each weekend on the Prep Hoops Circuit is the All-Hustle Team from the weekend. There are no stats to talk about, there are no ratings to chat about, it’s strictly who got on the floor and went after the basketball, who dove for a loose ball hard into the padding between the basket, and who just was a workhorse that put it all on the line for his team? That is what we look for in our All-Hustle Team. These teams are mostly nominated by the head coaches but we threw in our notes as well on specific plays where we saw these young men hustle for the basketball!

AS-WATCHED ALL-HUSTLE TEAM

Luke Narum | Lake City, MN | Minnesota Lightning Meyer 2026

Narum is a pass-first point guard that is a tone stater on offense and defense for Minnesota Lightning Meyer 2026. He is a solid facilitator on offense that positions his teammates well to score a bucket. Narum can score of course, but he is a defined hustle guy for this Minnesota Lightning squad.

Owen Oulke | Cedar Grove-Belgium, WI | Chapman Basketball Academy North 2026

Oulke had one of the higher scoring games from this list, but where I loved watching him was his aggressive going for the basketball on defense. When he was invading the passing lanes, Oulke played aggressive defense but not to a point where he drew a foul which shows how solid of a defender he was.

Josiah DeMaris | Madelia, MN | Southwest Minnesota Stars 2026

When watching DeMaris for the first team on Sunday I came away really impressed with his big motor and just how physical he was at the bucket. You can tell he uses that motor to do whatever it takes to get to the basket regardless of the size down low.

Henry Janikula | Watertown-Mayer, MN | Minnesota Swish Aalfs 2025

Janikula belonged on our All-Hustle team by the way he ended the game against Minnesota Suns 2025. When he hit the game-winner, he was using his body extremely well to create his shot and it certainly paid off getting the win.
