Here are my selections as top performers among an impressive list of talents that were in attendance from the Class of 2025…
Cayden Boozer | Miami, FL | Class of 2025
An excellent complement to his twin, Cameron, who competes in the frontcourt, Cayden Boozer offers an intriguing blend of size and skill as a 6-foot-5 incoming high school freshman perimeter prospect. Capable of playing both guard and forward positions, his emerging athleticism and improving offensive abilities were clear throughout the weekend, as he helped lead Nightrydas Elite (FL) to the 2021 Balling On The Beach eighth-grade crown. More of the same should be expected as Boozer is slated to attend Christopher Columbus High School along with his brother to play for head coach, and nationally-renowned trainer, Andrew Moran.

| Homewood, IL | Class of 2025
Despite a frustrating weekend at the Balling On The Beach tournament for the Mac Irvin Fire (IL) eighth-grade team, it was encouraging to see Heard healthy once again, as he appears to be regaining his form following a few nagging injuries that hindered him during my most recent evaluations this spring. The 6-foot-5 guard has an enormous ceiling as a prospect and he continues to exhibit flashes that indicate his potential as one of the top perimeter players in the Midwest among his peers. As he begins to trust his body once again, Heard’s aggressiveness should trend upward, and I expect his confidence to quickly follow.
Shelton Henderson | Houston, TX | Class of 2025
The JL3 Elite (TX) roster is loaded with talent, and having watched the team numerous times during the past few years, head coach Delilah Battle’s most consistent producer has been Shelton Henderson. Nearing the 6-foot-5 mark, Henderson is the owner of a strong and athletic frame, and he has the ability to hit shots while also generating his own offense off the bounce. The Southwestern prospect may not be receiving his due from others quite yet but it’s clear that he is one of the premier talents among a loaded group of players from Texas in the Class of 2025 and absolutely has the talent to be recognized nationally at the next level.
Alexander Lloyd | Brandon, FL | Class of 2025
Deliberate and confident in his approach, Lloyd has a mature and seasoned game, and competes with the poise of a circuit veteran. He has continued to stretch out during the last year, and now stands 6-foot-3, but has maintained his familiar wiry build and added some additional wiggle to his game with the ball in his hands. Crafty and athletic, Lloyd’s versatility in the backcourt served as another critical piece to the Nightrydas Elite (FL) puzzle during their run to the 2021 Balling On The Beach title, and he appears primed to begin a successful high school hoops career this fall.
Cameron Ward | Largo, MD | Class of 2025
The 2021 Balling On The Beach event provided me an opportunity to observe Ward in-person for the first time in more than a year. The Team Durant (MD) product from the greater Washington, D.C. area has sprouted to 6-foot-5 and continues to offer tremendous versatility on the perimeter. A capable shotmaker, Ward has a sturdy frame, with burgeoning explosiveness when attacking the rim. His nose for the ball, consistent pursuit of rebounds, and willingness to defend are additional underappreciated traits in his repertoire. Ward will surely turn heads in the DMV region in high school and is likely to climb his way up positional depth charts nationally.
