With the amount of talent that was in the gym this weekend, there were plenty of different prospects that could have fit the bill for being a top scorer. Below are five prospects that turned heads this weekend with their ability to score the basketball…
Javante Edwards | Kevon Looney | Class of 2025
Edwards is an absolute joy to watch as he is always doing something productive when the basketball is in his hands. Edwards is part of a talented Kevon Looney group that has a lot of success together as a team. He was slick with the basketball in his hands and always adjusted accordingly when the defense was throwing different sets at him. Edwards also displayed a nice ability of being able to score the basketball with both ends. Edwards walked away from the camp being one of the top offensive players at the event.
Braylon Mullins | Indiana Elite | Class of 2025
Mullins was a key contributor in helping Indiana Elite this past weekend with his ability to score the basketball at a high level. Mullins, who is already 6’2, has good size to project as a shooting guard as he gets into high school. Mullins was definitely one of the more advanced kids at Prep Hoops Next 2K21 and is expected to have a big future in the state of Indiana during his time in high school.
Drew Snively | D1 Indiana | Class of 2025
Snively is part of a D1 Indiana team that has a lot of intriguing pieces and a group that has a bright future. He was a walking bucket this weekend but is also a guy that can do a lot of other things on offense like setting up his teammates and keeping possessions alive by getting offensive rebounds. There is a lot to like about Snively as he is part of a well coached group.
Braysen Stockman | Carolina Undersogs | Class of 2025
I wish I could have watched Carolina Underdogs more than I did but needless to say, Stockman caught my eye right away on Saturday at Prep Hoops Next 2K21. Stockman is a deadeye shooter that does not lack confidence at all when shooting the basketball. He was constantly making shots from deep as he was by far one of the best shooters I saw all weekend.
Nasir Williams | NEBC Elite | Class of 2025
Williams was one of the top players for NEBC Elite this weekend at the Prep Hoops Next 2K21 scoring in double figures multiple times throughout the weekend. Standing at 5’11, Williams plays with good energy and is constantly making winning plays for his team.
