Already playing in multiple events on the Prep Hoops Next Circuit, CBA will look to be one of the top teams in the 14U division. Chapman talked with Prep Hoops Next about what it has been like playing on the Prep Hoops Next Circuit.
“We have loved it from a whole program point of view. We have really enjoyed playing in the different venues and playing the different opponents. It has been super fun and a lot of good competition at every stop we have been to on the circuit.”
CBA usually fields out two teams at the 14U division but this weekend will be the first time the teams are combined. Chapman gave a rundown on some of his top prospects
Trevor Polite, 6’5, WF
“He is a 6’5 forward that sees the game very well. He is a stretch three or stretch four and we put the ball in his hands because he can make a lot of different plays for us. He is a guy that is very unselfish and a guy that is always looking to help his team but he also knows when he has to be aggressive.”
Tommy O’Hagan, 6’0, G
“He is a guard that can get into the passing lanes well. He drives to the basket well and can shoot the ball at a high clip and once he gets hot it is pretty hard to guard him and he is going to be a guy that we lean on because of his scoring ability.”
Juan Hernandez, 6’1, PG
“He is one of our point guards with long arms and he can get downhill with speed. He is also another guy that can shoot the ball at a high clip.”
Logan Zahour, 5’10, G
“He is a great kid. He is a forward that is a super aggressive defender and a straight line driver and can finish at the rim very well.”
Jeremiah Johnson, 5’8, PG
“He is our starting point guard and another kid that can shoot the ball at a high clip. He has a very high basketball IQ and knows how to get his guys going and can pick his spots accordingly.”
