Trey McKinney (featured image in thumbnail) Class of 2025 / Carolina Heights – Trey is a man among boys who loves to get involved offensively. In an early bracket game vs Southern Assault I saw Trey do it all as he is a mismatch nightmare. We know you won’t be stopping Trey in transition but I was extremely impressed by how he scored in a half court setting. Trey would finish with 20 points in what could have been the best 8th grade bracket game.

Kayden Edwards Class of 2025 / Southern Assault – Kayden is known for his scoring ability as all summer consistently put up 20+ point performances. In a tough bracket draw against Carolina Heights I saw Kayden save his best for last. Just when you thought Carolina Heights was about to pull away there was Kayden hitting yet another deep three. In the end it wasn’t enough to beat Carolina Heights but Kayden would finish with 23 points.

Trey Pinkard (featured image to the right) Class of 2027 / Houston Hoops Blue Chips – Trey had arguably the best performance of the whole tourney in his Blue Chips quarterfinals game. Trey would finish with 40 points scoring from all three levels but really doing his damage from deep. The thing I love about Trey is that he never forces his shot and knows that he can always get his teammates involved, as Trey made some really nice plays that set his teammates up for very open looks.

Aaron Rowe (featured image to the right) Class of 2025 / MPJ Elite – Aaron Rowe very well could be the #1 PG in the 2025 class. Aaron played up with Nike sponsored and EYBL powerhouse MOKAN 15s. The game just looks so slow to Aaron as he would run PG for MPJ Elite. Aaron’s handles are crisp, smooth, and when you add his lightning first step all I can say is good luck staying in front of him.

Tre Nunn Class of 2026 / Houston Hoops Blue Chips – Tre is such a unique prospect in my opinion as he is always a mismatch nightmare. Ideally I see Tre as a stretch forward with a pure jump shot but putting a bigger defender on him Tre is skilled enough to go right by him. When you risk putting a guard on him Tre will do work in the post and get easy buckets. In a competitive matchup with Team Griffin it would be the outside game working for Tre as he would finish with 18 points.
