Carolina Heights would keep a 30-26 halftime lead with Maleek Thomas having 13 points and Sharod Barnes for D-Rice keeping them close with 12 points. In the 2nd half the depth of Carolina Heights would start taking over as Mickey Williams started getting some easy buckets down low. Elzie Harrington would come alive in the 2nd half as he would finish with 14 points for D-Rice but in the end Gabe Capps would hit a few 3s to help increase the Carolina Heights lead as the final score would be Carolina Heights 71 D-Rice 57.
7th Grade Championship D5 Global Teddy (featured image to the right) vs Team Griffin – In my opinion this 7th grade championship was the best of the three championship games I saw as both teams had some offensive power. Right out of the gate Team Griffin would jump out to an early 11-2 lead led by Nehemiah Lawrence. It would not take long for D5 to wake up and slowly cut away the Team Griffin lead, as it would be AJ Washington and

doing a lot of work inside taking us to a 30-25 Team Griffin lead going into the half. The 2nd half would remain tight with Team Griffin always staying 5-10 points ahead. Just when you thought Team Griffin was going to keep this gap Jayden Moore would lead a wild come back as D5 would snag a 53-50 lead. Tristian Comer and

would seal the deal as in the end the size of D5 would slow wear down Team Griffin. In the end we would have a final score D5 Teddy 68 Team Griffin 60.
6th Grade Championship Seattle Rotary (featured image to the right) vs The Squad From tipoff this championship was rather one-sided as the guard play for Seattle Rotary got everything they wanted. KJ Hightower would put on a show creating every big run for the Rotary and at halftime would led the way with 16 points and a 32-19 lead. Throughout the 2nd half it would be the KJ Hightower show as the pressure of the Rotary would be too much for The Squad. Jaylin Concord would play an extremely good 2nd half for the squad finishing with 16 points but Hightower out doing him with 28. The final score would end up being Seattle Rotary 52 The Squad 41
