There are many Mom & Pop teams across the country. There are many neighborhood teams that often get started but fizzle out, but when it comes to Hoops Elite they have been a consistent mainstay. Hoops Elite was created a few years ago when these young Class of 2026 players were only 7 years old with a team made up of kids in the neighborhood.
Early Success
While winning the State AAU Championship it was apparent the founder and coach Brady Boman had himself a special group. Hoops Elite went on to play in some out of state tournaments and came home with various championships as well. In 2019 they finished in 12th place at the Disney World of Sports. Hoops Elite continues to develop their young talent. With high school ball getting closer Hoops Elite looks to play a tough schedule to get these youngsters ready.

Player Breakdown
Luke West – One of the best players in his class. He is strong and crafty for a young player. He shoots the ball well and he knows how to shield off defenders, Older brother is 6’7 so Luke might have some more inches to go.
Davis Fyans – One of the best on ball defenders in the state. he plays on both ends of the floor and he is quick, shifty and hass a tight handle.
Tyler Mortensen – This prospect is likely to be 6’6 or so with his dad being 6’5 and mom being 6’3. Comes from a very athletic family. Good shooter that has a heigh ceiling.
Tyse Boman – High IQ player that can knock down three’s and he has that quick release. Nice float game to add to his shooting.
Zak Benz Paepke – Great perimeter defender as he uses his length. His calling card is that he is a great slasher creating easy coring opportunities.
Dillon Roberts – Great Mid-range that is paired with an ability to get to the rim with ease.
Kayden Thompson – Plays a lot bigger than he is because he plays physical and he uses his athletic ability. Great rebounder that finishes well around the basket.
Will Chandler – Will has a big body and he uses it well around the rim. He has soft hands and he has a soft touch as well. Will can also step outside and hit the three.
