How long has this group been playing together?

A few of our guys have been playing together since 2nd and 3rd grade. I’ve been coaching this group since 5th grade.

What are somethings your program focuses on?

One of my main focuses is of course to get these boys ready for high school and help them develop into the best players they can become. But my goal is to teach them life lessons through basketball and get them ready for life after basketball as well. A couple ways we do that is by teaching them how to handle adversity, how to become leaders, and instilling confidence into each player.

Great rim protector and rebounder

5’10 G Jake Van Der Vorste

Play maker who can get it done on both ends of the floor.

5’10 G Johnny Osterink

Slasher, who also has great court vision and can rebound very well.

5’9” F Baron Lam

Solid motor, and is always in the right spots defensively.

5’8 G Logan Vergenz

Shooter, who can also put the ball on the deck and make plays.

5’8 SG Kaden Sutton

Shooter, who plays with high energy and is a solid on ball defender.

5’6 SG Alex Goebel

Lock up defender who takes care of the ball on the offensive end.

5’6 PG Ollie Savona

Lock up defender with high energy, who creates in the paint at will.

5’4 G Nico Mott

Lights out shooter, who in an underrated playmaker.

Some things I’m learning with this group are how to develop better shooters and how to play better team defense.
