The MIT is a great opportunity to get eyes on future prospects that will soon be at different high schools throughout the DMV. Below are three headlines from opening night…
Satterwhite and Connelley lead New World
This New World bunch put on an impressive performance Friday night to kick off the MIT. This is a deep bunch but the two alpha dogs of the team are 6’1 Hakeem Satterwhite and 6’1 Kai Connelley. Satterwhite showed his athleticism throughout the game with multiple above the rim finishes.
Bankshot Academy Brings Toughness
The Bankshot Academy program is filled with a lot of tough dudes from Baltimore. They are a balanced bunch with multiple weapons on their roster. 6’0 Robert Price, 5’8 James Foster and 5’6 Tourean Thompson were among the leaders for Bankshot Academy.
Team Thrill Dominates
The historical Under Armour sponsored team is back at it again with a very talented 2026 roster. This group is a deep bunch with skilled prospects at every position. 6’0 Elijah Barrett was a magician offensively and really showed his ability to shoot the ball. 6’1 Aidan Able is a big body that can handle the ball and shoot it from deep. Able looks like a prospect that could compete at the varsity level right now.
