Caleb Gillmore | Bryant, AR | Class of 2026

Gillmore logged a solid weekend of production at the 2022 Under Armour Future Presidents’ Day Classic while competing for the Legendary Athletes (AR) organization. The Arkansas native is a bit undersized for the wing position at only six-feet tall, but he is a well-built athlete, and managed to have a positive influence on his team across a number of statistical categories throughout the tournament. His father, Ivory Gillmore, was a three-sport athlete at the junior college level so the versatility exhibited by the younger Gillmore did not come as a huge shock. As his size and skill advance, he should become a solid contributor for Bryant (AR) High School.

Martechio ‘MJ’ Hayes | Memphis, TN | Class of 2026

Hayes displayed arguably the highest upside of any player in attendance at the 2022 Under Armour Future Presidents’ Day Classic. A rangy, 6-foot-3 prospect, he has only started to blossom physically, but the brief glimpses of offensive production that he provided during the weekend were very promising. Suiting up for a P7 Elite (TN) stacked with individual talent, the next step for Hayes is demonstrating more consistency and aggressiveness in his approach. Athleticism and length are certainly in his favor and Hayes seems to possess the feel necessary to turn himself into an impact performer with steady development.

Marcellous Jackson | Memphis, TN | Class of 2026

Better known as “Cello”, Jackson is currently one of the alphas among the Southeast region’s eighth-grade group, and once again made that fact known with his aggressive play at the Under Armour Future Presidents’ Day Classic. A stout 6-foot-2 perimeter prospect, the Memphis native rotates between the guard and forward positions, providing physicality and an attacking style for his P7 Elite (TN) team. He’ll need to continue refining his frame and improving his lateral quickness to help stifle opponents on the wing, but if there’s a bucket that’s needed, Jackson wants to take the big shot for his club and that confidence should carry him a long way.

Aden ‘AJ’ Jeffries | Clayton, MO | Class of 2026

Jeffries was one of the first players to catch my eye during the 2022 Under Armour Future Presidents’ Day Classic. Playing with Knights Basketball Academy (MO), the lanky 6-foot-3 wing appears to have a fairly significant ceiling as a perimeter prospect, as he is capable of slashing to the rim, but also can be counted on as a reliable shooter. I’m very curious to monitor his physical progression in the coming months as well as the development of his basketball persona to evaluate if his confidence and assertiveness continue to trend in the right direction. In short, Jeffries was easily one of the more intriguing players that I observed over the weekend.

Joseph Terry | Twentynine Palms, CA | Class of 2026

Under the tutelage of Team ELEATE (CA) director, Marvin Lea, Terry is making no secret about his intent to morph from post to perimeter prospect at the high school level. A physical specimen at nearly 6-foot-5, Terry is still most impactful around the rim, but did show flashes facing the basket while playing at the 2022 Under Armour Future Presidents’ Day Classic. In a “tweener” forward role, Terry has the potential to become a versatile, interchangeable defender, that can create offensive mismatches with his rebounding and interior finishing abilities. He’ll be even more effective should his ball-handling and jump-shooting skills continue to evolve.
