Ultra-smooth off the bounce, very slippery with a speedy first step, changed pace and directions, showed a soft touch floater, and deadly shooting consistency. As efficient as they come, likely the best all-around shooter in the entire event including his smart shot selections. Lester’s lethal scoring appeared effortless Seemingly limitless range, a flat-out threat to score anywhere within the halfcourt, not only was he a threat coming off of a screen, shooting off the catch, and stepback, but Ayden Lester could also pull a few combination dribbles out of his bag to create separation.
Christopher Hampton | Plano, TX | Prep Starz 2026
Christopher Hampton stood out as a pure jumpshooter that went on hot shooting streaks of making long mid-range and three-point jumpshots off the catch, he didn’t take many, if any shots away from his hot spots around the right-wing. Nice shooting mechanics and textbook form with a high release alongside great elevation and a strong follow-through, Hampton elevates and releases above contesting defenders with great concentration on the rim. Impressive relocation skills, Hampton stayed on the moves cutting and popping out looking for his catch and shoot opportunities, and if his jumper didn’t fall he looked to score inside by taking the baseline on players closing out on him.
Caden Miller | Albuquerque, NM | ABC Spotlight 2027
Caden Miller is a 2028 prospect playing up and making a huge impact. Automatic with his feet set, knockdown shooter from the corner. Whenever this corner specialist was allowed to spot up and shoot with a clean look he was sure to make it fall. A threat on the fast break due to his electrifying knack for leaking out the moment a shot went up to pick up easy buckets that eventually put the score out of reach. Caden Miller also finished around the basket well on both sides of the hoop with either hand.
Marques Alexander | Tulsa, OK | Tulsa Hawks 2028
Marques Alexander was an intriguing bucket getter on and off the ball. The Tulsa Hawks guard proved to be an unconscious jump shooter, Alexander pulled up and shot with no hesitation from 20-feet out with little to no space. Solid shot selections and an efficient shooter from several different spots on the floor. Anytime Alexander stepped into his shot while catching the ball in rhythm he was destined to nail the jumper. When creating off the dribble Marques displayed a shaky handle that often threw defenders off balance, particularly when utilizing his hesitation dribble and jab steps.
Beckham Hopkins | Dallas, TX | AKR Texas Summitt / Vols Elite 2028
Sharpshooter, Beckham Hopkins was an outstanding three-point specialist that let it fly in a blink of an eye. Whether Hopkins was being contested or shooting an open jumper he knocked down long-range bombs at a consistent rate, anytime he took a shot from deep everyone in attendance expected it to fall. Deadly in transition, Hopkins quickly got out in the open floor spreading out to the corner for open looks and making the defense pay.
