The field got tighter as the Elite was featuring some big time teens and the talent was off the charts. We will highlight a some teams and players in this installment.

Expression Elite Black (MA) vs. DNA Elite (VA)

Jaxson Terry for Expressions Elite Black has been a dog and his defensive assignments have really taken this team to another level. He can defend multiple positions and cause havoc with that elite pressure. That length not only bothers players when they’re shooting it really helps in the lanes taking away lanes and angles that the offense is looking for. He is going to be a stock riser that will continue to improve his game. Extremely impressed with 6’5 CG Adam Oumiddoch for DNA Elite. Not sure who he is running with next year but this kid is a Top 10 player in the country. He can do it all and at 6’5 already he is a problem. Gets to the rim off the bounce with a first step burst, he gets in the paint and can avoid defenders. He is crafty with the ball and the kid has a perimeter game that is solid.

CP3 (NC) vs. City Rocks (NY)

Impressed with Cole Cloer as this wing is the next big with that hybrid skill and footwork that you see from a youngster that has the goods to be elite at the next level. Shooting ability is off the charts. He can get in the lane and finish in traffic and he can also just catch and shoot. This Hybrid stretch wing is a perfect piece to this talented team that is full of talent. Jalen Grant for City Rocks has that closer ability as he is quick and is low to the ground when he attacks which makes his moves quicker as he is swift changing directions. He is a name to remember as well

All Ohio Red Sumner (OH) vs. Team Durant (DC)

Tyran Stokes has be superb as an addition to this team because the kid attracts so much attention. With a roster loaded with talent Stokes often times is a main focal point which allows players around him to go off. Not sure anyone is going to stop this team. That Ohio area with these kids has a very talented group in the class of 2026. Brayden Fogel has really come into his own. He is going to be a big time talent.

Jet Academy Stars (GA) vs. New York Lightning (GA)

Dylan Mingo has that special in his as he runs the show with some elite handles and when he is making moves he can change directions so quickly. All-around game is actually really sharp at the moment which just means problems for defenders as he will continue to sharpen those skills. New York Lightning is just loaded with talent. The Mecca is back! Stay tuned for all these NY kids starting to really put people on notice.
