Expressions vs. CP3 (NC)
Desmond Bellot Jr. is that PG that has next as he displays an array of moves in his arsenal that just power him and that high motor to get buckets as he can spray from all over the floor. Gets out and runs in transition and will go out and create the contact before the defender does. Finds shooters as he keeps his head and vision up finishing open players that can knockdown jumpers. Pair him with a shooter on the help-side and he will make the right read all the time. This kid is nice. Evan Mitchner is another player on that Expressions team that can really go. He has a great feel for the game and he is nice off the bounce in that mid-range. Finds open players and stays active out on the floor, you can see his engagement.
Over on CP3 Ashton Pierce is an absolute bucket. The kid can score at all three levels and he is big time. Not only does he have the goods on offense he is a legit defender that causes havoc with the way he moves his feet and his active hands. North Meck High School is going to have a dog when he gets on campus.
All-Ohio Red Sumner (OH) vs. New York Lightning (NY)
New York Lighting has some premier wings and guards and Jalen Maldonado is a perfect example of a guard in the NY area that can break down players off the dribble with his unpredictable handle and he is quick to revert back to a jumper. Impressive game for this young 2026 prospect. 6’4 Josh Powell has had a great Summer as he has displayed some absolute next level wing play as he goes inside and out ad with positional size he has game. A little bit of that inside and outside combo.
This All-Ohio Red Sumner team is special as they have plowed through the competition. Tyran Stokes is not only a show in the layup lines before the game but he is bound to catch a body or two in a game. Although he is an Ohio native he will playing somewhere in California this upcoming season. Brayden Fogel has been an absolute stud as he is one of the best wings out there. Scoop Smith is another player that has some solid game and this kid is bouncey too .
Overview: Can’t make too many mistakes against this All-Ohio Red Sumner team that is loaded with talent and versatile height. They pressure you into mistakes which makes things even more difficult. The only way to make up for it is to make big time shots. It looks like they might run the table.
