The event, presented by Prep Hoops Circuit Premiere program, Chosen Few, was hosted at the Las Vegas Basketball Center located at 7350 Prairie Falcon Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89128. The tournament format featured teams ranging from 8U to 17U. The event also featured several talented potential middle school prospects. In this article, we take a look at some of the top 2027 PGs and Combos guards from the event.
Jordan Troya 5’6 PG Sin City Sauce Boyz 2027 – Troya was one of the top shooters I saw at the event. The floor spacing PG is an advanced shooter that was accurate in catch and shoot situations as well as off the bounce. He had an uncanny ability to shoot the ball from a variety of body angles, allowing him to make shots from mid-range as well. His reload shooting ability is borderline elite, as the floor spacing PG was able to quickly reset his feet, after pump-faking his defender.

Gianni Mcghee 5’2 PG Vegas Ballers 2027 (featured image) – I caught a glimpse of Mcghee in the first game I saw, which left me wanting to see a little more. He did not disappoint. The 5’2 PG showed the type of offensive skill set to allow him to dominate games at the middle school level. He has an advanced handle, showing the ability to use several CODs to break pressure and win in 1 v 1 matchups. I thought he got better as the games got bigger, coming up with big shots and plays during the championship games.

Walter Townsend Jr 5’2 PG Team Vegas 2027 – Townsend was one of my favorite players this weekend. The first thing that stood out to me about him was his speed. He doesn’t look fast, yet he always seemed to be moving faster than his opponents. His grit and toughness stood out as well. The 5’2 guard was fearless when attacking the cup, and showed the willingness to take tough shots for his team. Overall I came away a big fan of his IQ and competitive spirit.

Jaiden Williams 5’7 CG Team Vegas 2027 – Williams was another talented player suiting up for Team Vegas this weekend. He showed a ton of skill, including the ability to get to the cup with ease. He was most effective when getting to his strong hand in transition.

Ribsen Miller 5’9 CG Team Vegas 2027 – Miller was a shooting threat for Team Vegas, The sharpshooter used a quick release to get off a high arching shot. Miller was one of the better corner snipers, knocking down threes from both baselines in the game I watched.
Noah Grossman CG Vegas Ballers 2027 – Grossman saved his best performance for last. He was magnificent in the championship game providing a scoring bunch for a deep Vegas Ballers team, that would go on to take home the 13/14U crown. He showed the ability to shoot the ball, knocking down a couple clutch threes late in the second half of the championship game. The sharpshooter then mixed it up, driving by fast closing defenders, changing the scoreboard with some crucial mid-range jumpers.
Dominic Rudd CG Las Vegas Punishers 2027 – Every time I looked up it seemed as if Rudd was getting a bucket. The combo was efficient throughout the weekend and performed well in a hard-fought Championship game. He flashed some wiggle, including a nice spin move. Overall he was at his best when attacking opponents in 1 v 1 situations.
