Based out of Texas where the players continue to flourish and develop into high major sought out players RJ Hampton Elite has built themselves a powerhouse with some elite players in the Class of 2027. We take a peak at what players they have on their rosters and what we expect from a team that has to be in the Top Tier of teams set to play in their class.

6’1 PG AJ Polk || Tennessee || 2027 ||

AJ is a smooth left handed PG that has a great looking shot from deep. Most lefties do but AJ does have a sweet stroke. Smart player that knows how to get to his hot spots and when he gets there he can score at will. Great lead guard that makes the right plays and plays the right way.

6’5 W Ryan Hampton || Texas || 2027 ||

The New Mecca is at it again as they showcase another young talent in Ryan Hampton the younger brother of NBA Star RJ Hampton who has already passed up his older brother when it comes to where they were both at at the same age. This only means that he will have a lot of eyes on him as he continues to develop. Ryan has a long frame and that wingspan allows him to alter shots and just be a menace on the ball playing those passing lanes. He can work his post game and shoot over defenders on the blocks and he has a solid perimeter game that continues to develop.

5’11 CG Mason Shepherd || Texas || 2027 ||

Talk about instant offense Mason can get it going in a hurry. He is a high volume scorer that can drop some major numbers. Quick guard on the ball that uses that lefty shifty style to get loose. This kid is Varsity ready and the sky is the limit for a CG that can score at will.

6’3 W || Marneko Thomas || Texas || 2027 ||

Marneko is a physical player that goes out and seeks contact and as a two sport athlete it makes sense. That physical style of play often leads to him bullying defenders to get what he wants. He has the ability to be a big time stat stuffer doing the little things here and there. With an already big frame this kid is athletic and he is a matchup problem.

6’3 W Naz Tyler || Pennsylvania || 2027 ||

Philly kid has game and he is that new breed of Point Forwards that are starting to really make an impact on both ends of the floor. He is already pulling comps like former Kentucky and NBA Star Antoine Walker. Has that tough high IQ game that allows him read the defense and be on the ball getting everyone involved. He is a 1-5 switch type of defender and he has future D1 written all over him.

6’1 PG Martay Barnes || Florida || 2027 ||

Martay is that high IQ mature player on and off the floor. He is a that two way player that most coaches really enjoy having on the team as they will get it done on both ends of the floor. Gets to his posts and just understands the game. He will be a HM talent.
