Led by Nationally ranked Davion Thompson who holds multiple IESA records Brooks is looking to make another run at a state title and go back to back.
Lisle Junior High School ( Lisle Illinois) Coming up short in a deep playoff run Brady Pettigrew is looking to get back to the state finals as he goes into his 7th-grade year for Lisle. Adding to his game Brady is looking to dominate his conference for a third straight year and make a deep playoff push.
Mac Arthur Middle School (Berkley Illinois) Known for its west suburban style of play producing much talent over the years. Led by Victor Norris one of the top shooters in the class of 2027 uses his speed to blow past defenders. Victor Norris can put points on the board quickly I would not be surprised if he has a couple 30 point games this season as he makes his final push at an IESA State Run.
Roosevelt Middle School (Bellwood Illinois) Regardless of whether they have a big-name player or not Roosevelt Middle School has always been a Powerhouse Middle School that looks to make an IESA state-run every year! Losing a lot of 2026 kids we will see what their 2027 and 2028s have to offer to lead the way for the Bulldogs.
Irving Middle School (Maywood Illinois) Maywood is a basketball town that always has a hidden gem coming out of that area. With 2027 Edward Humes IV “Lil Ed” running the show I think this Irving team can make a deep push and surprise a lot of teams this year.
Learn 8 Middle School (Chicago Illinois) The 2027 Dynamic Duo of Gerald Walton Tobyus Banks causes match-up problems for a lot of teams. Both big guards can get to where ever they want on the court with the willingness to apply 94 feet of defensive pressure that gets the team off and running and will put points on the board In a hurry.
Skinner West (Chicago Illinois) Lead by Jamier Mongomery Skinner West will probably be the most fun to watch this year with adding transfers 2028 Joaish Hall and Alvin Robinson to the roster, Skinner will be fun to watch.
