If you look at the talent level of these kids in the next 4 or so years every state in the Midwest has dudes.
Jaxon Davis || Illinois ||
When it comes to maturity in someones game at this level it is the great separator between players that might have the same or similar skill. Jaxon is creating separation between him and a lot of his peers because of that mature style of play. The way he can handle the pressure and not let anyone speed him up. The way he can keep his vision up to find cutters and look for open gaps in the defense. He can set up plays as they develop to make some tough buckets look easy. When he has the ball in his hands coming up the floor it is like poetry in motion changing paces and speeds yet moving forward attacking. Jaxon is a big time stock rising guard that has the tools to be elite.
Bryce Curry || Illinois ||
Bryce is that big and long “Baby Face Assassin” Long and smooth strides he takes gets him by defenders in a hurry. It almost looks like he is going in slow motion but by everyone. When he drives to the rim he does a great job of protecting the ball and keeping it away from active hands. His instincts are very well one of the first things that pop when you watch him play. He rotates on defense well and knows when to pounce or sell out defensively. Great IQ that gets him out in transition quickly.
Deon Johnson || Indiana ||
Could be the next big time wing playing for Indiana Elite 3SSB in the future. Deon is a mismatch as a big guard. When playing against the zone he can roam around the short-corner and cut and also pop and be effective. Better than average shooter from deep and he is dangerous out in the corners. It is somewhat surprising that he can move the way he does as a big guard. Shifty moves are deep and precise attacking the rim. In the paint on post ups he lowers the shoulder and gets physical. He has a bright future ahead.
Dooney Johnson || Wisconsin ||
Donney has some serious game. He reminds me of a young Trezz in the Drew League that is just out there having fun running the point and getting in the lane bullying people and even throwing a few spins here and there. Big guard moves yet big fella strength.
Jahari Miller || indiana ||
Jahari is the type of player that will take what the defense gives, He will shoot if you back up, if you play up he will take dribble drives. Impressive game as he can finish inside. In due time he will be throwing it down on people.
