Class of 2028 has some dudes and some names you will want to start keeping notes on. Here is some notes on the top 5 guys in the country right now.

Kameron Mercer

Kameron has a solid all-around game. His activity near the rim on rebounds and put backs really takes the energy away from other teams looking to get stops. He finds ways to finish and he has really good touch on his hooks and short push shots. Kameron makes everyone around him better as he rebounds and pushes the ball as a lead guard or he can fly out in the wing and fill a lane. He is not a player that will settle for jumpers as he likes to get to the rim. He has a knack for the ball as he tracks down rebounds and he seems to be in the right place at the right time a lot. He has a good jumper that will get better in time which will only elevate his game. Favorite aspect of his game is what he can do with the ball in his hands in transition. He is like a point forward out there.

The big young fella is going to turn into the throw it up and I will het it kid in no time, because he is already hinting at that. He is a cheat code at times when he is out there as a big dominant center. He has length and that wingspan can block shots from all over. He is still developing that footwork and foot speed but he is already talented. He does dunk the ball but he is still a baby when it comes to that bounce. In a few years he is going to be hanging from rims and catching bodies and lobs. Right now he is really showing those fundamental skills as he is a drop step machine.

This kid has a strap! the boy can really shoot the ball. He has range too. Heaven is out there pulling from the logo in transition. Ball handling skills are ELITE as he can weave in and out of the lane and through traffic. He has some swagger to his game and if he plays with a lot of that energy he is going to continue to turn heads. That Austin Select team is going to be a fun team to watch.

Wach-out for that AZ Unity squad they are really good and look to make noise again this year. A little bit of everything form this kid. He is like a Swiss Army Knife. He has length on defense and he can get downhill on offense. That tough bigger body and legth really come in handy as he gets some free runs at the rim. He is a magnet on the offensive boards.

6'4" | SF | 2028

Adam Daniels Adam Daniels CG || Indiana ||

Adam has a grown man game as he is already trying to dunk it on everyones head. Long, lanky and athletic as he can get boards and come flying down the lane and go coast to coast. Big motor with some active feet. He has great moves and instincts for a bigger kid.
