Indy Heat Gym Rats have been turning heads at every level and are one of the premier programs we have in the Prep Hoops Next Circuit. Let’s dive into the 2028 team and how they plan to execute their talent this upcoming season. First, the roster below highlights what each prospect brings to the squad. The coach noted that Sam Hirschy Sam Hirschy PF , the team’s best player, is the focal point as he is a tremendous presence in the paint offensively and a monster on the defensive end. Will Davison is the 2nd leading scorer and can create space and shoot it from anywhere. Andrew Noble is the glue guy who does everything on the offensive and defensive end of the court.
Indy Heat Gym Rats 2028 team strengths are the inside/outside game. They have a great inside presence but have guards that are great shooters as well. Their defense really needs to get to a different level this year. Getting in the right spots and doing the little things on defense will be crucial for their success this year.

Questions w/ Coach:
Q: How does your roster stack up against last season’s roster? Any major changes?
A: We added Noah Washington and Varschon Clark. After competing in the MSCS last year in Washington DC we knew we needed to get more athletic and add length. Both of these kids give us the length and add more firepower on the offensive end but both add a tenacious presence on the defensive end.
Q: What facet of the game do you want to improve on most going into next season?
A: We need to improve the most on the defensive end. We need to do the little things on defense and get a dawg mentality on that side of the ball.
Q: Which Prep Hoops Next event are you looking forward to most and why?
A: We are looking forward to the Heartland Kickoff in Louisville and The Stage in Indianapolis. Both tournaments have good competition and are well-run.
We look forward to covering Indy Heat Gym Rats this season!
