One of the toughest things about Jakyi’s game is that his ability to get to the rim really puts defenders on edge with straight line hesi-drives he gets by defenders and he can just find ways to finish. This ability really opens up his shooting as teams are cautious about the way they close out or how close they get. This kid is a new name for us but he is a player to really pay attention to in the Class of 2028.
Shooter with a big time shifty handle and that is what gets him the space he needs to get those shots off. Justin has a silky smooth handle and the kid hits those step-backs as well as those kick out shots. He is going to be a name that will be a household one as he can really let it fly and he gets to the rim.

I love when kids are hitting from all over and the opposing coach sends a kid to face-guard, well this is the kind of shooter Peyton is. He can absolutely change the game with that shooting. he isn’t out there shot hunting he is just hitting those swing three’s or making teams pay when they go under. When you run him off the three he gets in the mid-range and can knock those down as well. He is a three-level shooter. Can pull right in-front of the rim and hit that 15 foot shot and light you up from beyond the arc as well.

At first glance you can see the potential as he is a raw player that makes some crazy/impressive moves. That raw skill just lets us know that there is still a lot to work on. Then you see him shoot the rock. He gets that ball up and elevates it. He had a few series where he hit three in a row and in a few games he was averaging about 3-5 three-pointers made per game. We happen to see him in a game where he made 8 three-pointers. He looks like he can get to around 6’3 or taller and with that shooting ability to go along with his attacking athleticism he is going to be. problem.

When you got a bunch of dogs on the team Parks is the kid that steps on the floor and lights up up from deep to really demoralize defenses. Great mechanics as he always catches in that shooting basket that allows him to either catch and rip or jab and shoot. Smooth lateral side step shot that he has in the bag but he can hurt you off the bounce or just in that catch and shoot.
