Rose City Rebels has been a solid staple in the NIKE EYBL Grassroots scene and mainly because they really know how to produce talent. This Class of 2027 squad has some players that could turn out to be some studs in high school and beyond. They have a mixture of shooting and perimeter play that really meshes well with the way they want to play.

Isaac Brogden

6'3" | CG | 2027 Rose City Rebels

Isaac is one of the most impressive combo guards we have seen this year in that Class of 2027. His style of play is something that really is eye opening. He is a two way player that you can count on to get it done on both ends of the court. If you need a stop he can really get after it as he can guard multiple positions at a high level. He moves his feet well and keeps people in-front but he also challenges and can get steals and just make life difficult for anyone with the ball in their hands. He really loves to get back on and at times he gets his timing right and gets a few chase-down blocks. Offensively he is a three-level scorer that can snake his way in the lane and create for himself and others. The best part of his game as that if you take away one thing he will go to another. The space he can create for himself is elite.

Aiden Sanchez

5'9" | PG | 2027 Rose City Rebels

Reminds me a young Tyler Hero. His game is fluid with what his team is doing. Good shooter that can pull from anywhere and if you run him off of the three-point line he can step back or use his side step but he also gets in the lane. Really good free-throw shooter that knows how to get to the line. He is a player that can space the floor as a must defend shooter.

Elijah Thompson

5'9" | SG | 2027 Rose City Rebels

Another knockdown shooter on the squad and his hole team has really bought into getting him looks because he does shoot it at a high percentage. He is good on the wings and corners as sometimes he is left alone because his defender is the help-side guy. Scrappy guard that is always in attack mode but he does it with a calculated mind.

Overview:

This team can be fun to watch as they like to push the tempo and they have some shooters that can stretch the floor. Those shooters are a great pair for such a dynamic player like Isaac Brogden who is just at another level with his skills and his athleticism. Excited to see this team hoop again and see some wrinkles they add to a dynamic offense.
